Duke of Burgundy Stainless Steel Wearable Full Suit of Armor Medieval Knight. The 15th century was time of rapid change and upheaval, from politics to military to society, as the feudal systems of the Medieval ages gradually gave way to the nation-states that would come to dominate the early Modern period.

But one of the most iconic developments in this time was that of the full articulated suit of armor. Called the Panoply, these armor suits were the pinnacle of pre-gunpowder warfare, allowing heavy cavalry to be immune to almost any conventional weapon at the time, and requiring countermeasures and tacics to be developed to counter them.

This particular piece is a beautiful representation of the Italian-style of armor-craft, fully functional and ready for use by wearing or by displaying. [Materials] 18 gauge stainless steel plating is bound with genuine leather, and is covered in oil to prevent oxidation. Regular maintenance and cleaning should be done to prevent rusting. [Functional] This wearable panoply armor features fully articulated motion and a wood stand with a skeletal frame for display and support. [Parts] Consists of a cuirass(breastplate and backplate) with tassets (upper leg armor) and a matching back piece, complete arm and leg armor, and a hounskull helmet with a movable visor and bevor (neck plate).

Greaves, iron shoes, iron gloves, elbow and knee bosses and shoulder guards protect the arms and legs.
